Lindblad Expeditions on Tuesday announced two executive appointments, both of which will take effect on Dec. 31, 2024.

The first is a new CEO. Natalya Leahy, the former president of Seabourn and COO at Holland America, will take the top role, succeeding Lindblad Expeditions’ founder, Sven-Olof Lindblad. He will become co-chair of Lindblad’s board alongside Mark D. Ein, a venture capitalist who has served as the company’s chairman of the board and director since March 2013.

The second appointment is a new CFO. Rick Goldberg, currently the CFO of Founders Table Restaurant Group, will step into that role.

In the announcement, Sven-Olof Lindblad said both appointments are aimed at “leading the company into our next phase of growth in the experiential travel space both on sea and on land.”

“I look very much forward to, along with my fellow Board members, supporting Natalya and Rick to maintain and strengthen our position as the leaders in this rapidly growing sector of the travel industry and creating meaningful value for all of our stakeholders,” he added.

Leahy recently left Seabourn, where she was replaced by Mark Tamis, the former president who returned to the cruise line in the same role. Leahy had taken the Seabourn position in March 2023 after serving as COO at Holland America.
