Insight Vacations has launched a selection of small group, women-only tours, designed specifically for solo women.

The tours are Insights’ response to research with JourneyWoman showed that 65% of the 1,000 female travelers surveyed “look for tour companies that offer women-only tours or solo trips for women.” Additionally, 43% of respondents “feel the travel industry ignores solo or older female travelers.”

“As a travel brand, we’re committed to inspiring inclusion today and every day, which has led us to open more doors for women travelers,” said Melissa DaSilva, president of Insight Vacations, North America. “Our women-only tours, thoughtfully crafted by women for women, cater to travelers’ unique needs – be it exploring diverse cultures, conquering fears, or forging new friendships… At Insight Vacations, we recognize the significance of listening to women’s voices…”

The new tours, each no larger than 24 guests, span five continents, and focus on each destinations’ iconic sights, as well as on topics of unique interest to women. For instance, in the “Country Roads of Italy” tour, guests will have the opportunity to meet with a weaving association in Perugia that’s owned and run by women, while on the “Best of Morocco” tour, guests can attend a baking class at a women’s cooperative that empowers women to become professional chefs.

Clients interested in these women-only tours can save 8% by booking through May 31, 2024.
