Lindblad Expeditions Launches Suite Perks, Reveals Updated Suites on Nat Geo Explorer

A redesigned suite on National Geographic Explorer

Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic has launched a new Suite Exclusives package available across its entire fleet for passengers staying in select suite categories. The line is also showing off the newly redesigned and updated suites onboard National Geographic Explorer.

Suite Perks
As part of the Suite Exclusives package, guests in eligible cabin categories will receive a welcome gift upon embarkation, priority booking for spa and wellness treatments, and complimentary laundry services. Also new, eligible cabins will now have an in-room espresso machine.

Refurbished Suites
National Geographic Explorer recently returned to service following a refurbishment at the Astilleros Canarios shipyard in Spain last month. As part of the refurb, the ship’s eight suites were updated to reflect the sleek Scandinavian design that the cruise line introduced with National Geographic Endurance and National Geographic Resolution.

Beyond the aesthetic enhancements, each of the eight suites now features a state-of-the-art “command center” full of tech and tools, such as a barometer, an LG TV that broadcasts entertainment and ship navigation, and multiple USB and universal electric ports for cameras and other devices.

“For many, National Geographic Explorer, with her rich polar heritage, represents the paradigm of an expedition vessel,” said Ana Esteves, vice president of hotel operations at Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic. “The new stunning interior enhancements made to her suites ties National Geographic Explorer together nicely with our other purpose-built ice-class ships, while still creating an air of unique distinction and highlighting what makes this ship such a staple in the Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic fleet.”
