Swan Hellenic is making two moves in its sales department, directly impacting travel agencies and advisors.

Kelly Predmesky is being promoted to director of national accounts, a “linchpin” position for Swan. She’ll manage day-to-day sales and marketing plans, including serving as the primary contact for its Virtuoso partnership.

Mark Spillane is being brought on to fill the empty role of Director of Sales, Eastern U.S., which Predmesky is vacating with the promotion. Spillane most recently served as director of expedition sales for Seabourn and also in that same position for Crystal.

Aside from his duties in the Eastern U.S., he’ll also work on other North American and Canadian sales initiatives with the other members of the Swan sales team, including Eric Bacon, the director of sales for western U.S. and Canada, and Rolf Logan, the director of sales, North America, Groups.

Spillane also previously worked with Cheryl Topalian, now Swan Hellenic director of North America operations, while the two were at Silversea.

“I’m very proud of our North America team. These changes will enable us to deliver even more focused partner support and customer service, advancing our high-end reputation as the pioneers of cultural expedition cruising,” Joe Maloney, VP of sales for North America, said in the announcement.
