Continuing with my theme of ranting about all these blogging about blogging bloggers, I would like to take the time to address an issue that gets on my nerves: Proud bloggers. Basically, what happens is this. A blogger, or self-apointed internet marketing expert writes a post that is blatantly misguided. I, with my years of experience in sales, web development, marketing and SEO, attempt to enlighten them to the error of their ways by leaving a comment on their blog daring to disagree with them. All other comments are usually from the blogger´s clique of blogging friends who also have no clue what they are talking about, and leave comments such as:

Your so fab, what a great post, I shall copy exactly what you have said here and apply it to my own blog with out adding anything original or thinking for myself

Another great post, [insert blogger's name here], I think your blog is excellent and everything you say is so true!! Lolz

Wow, [insert blogger's name here], I had never thought of that, because I am a damned fool and also because what you said makes no sense, but because YOU said it and you once left a comment on MY crappy misinformed blog, I will automatically believe everything you write and sing your praises!

So I leave a comment saying:

Actually I think you will find this point [insert point here] is wrong because of these reasons [insert reasons here], backed up by my own experience and this evidence here [insert links to authoritative evidence]

You know what usually happens? Blogger gets arsey and leaves a nonsensical retort, then all her (its usually a her) cronies blindly defend her or attack me for daring to disagree, along the lines of:

Don´t worry, [insert name of blogger here], I think you are great and can do no wrong!

Don´t listen to him, keep writing great posts! Thanks for commenting on my useless article about how keyword density and metakeywords are the most important things in SEO!

And so on. Why are you so sensitive to criticism? Is it because you know you have no clue what you are doing? Do you not think that you should perhaps at least question yourself, after all, you cannot learn without making mistakes? Do you not think it would be wise to research what you are writing about, or perhaps try it out for yourself before publishing your post?

And as for you blogging clique cronies, go back to petting your overweight cats and clipping coupons for walmart.

And, I bet that if this is you I have described, you are too proud to leave a comment disagreeing with me. Admit it!
